White House is denying this article is true but apparently Joe gave his first indication to a close ally that he is weighing whether or not to continue in the race. Apparently he thinks his next few public appearances will make or break him and if they don't go well, he might drop out.
A carefully crafted, pre-rehearsed, and cleverly edited interview with ABC will probably boost his ego and make him think he sounds and looks much different than he did on the debate. And he might. But the question becomes do the American people believe it? Based on heavily liberal Reddit comment threads on these topics, I'd say even his main constituency is breaking and can see right through this upcoming round of PR attempts at rehabilitating his image. They are openly saying they don't trust the DNC and the White House when it comes to telling the truth with Biden's condition and they seem pretty pissed to even be in this predicament in the first place. If that's what staunch Democrats are thinking I can't imagine Biden will win over any moderates or independents with this plan.
As much as he will try over the next week, I don't think the toothpaste is going back in the tube.

I don't think the Puget Sound weenies realize how much worse this heatwave will be in oregon, and how not that bad it'll be up there. Some at most mid 90s is nothing to cry about, meanwhile the willamate valley will get repeated days in the 100s and upper 90s, with hot low temps. Don't even get me started on central oregon and Washington.
