When I was young it was understood that some jobs were just to be able to put some gas in the tank of your car so you can go play with your friends. Those jobs were never supposed to be a living wage.

I'm talking about a situation where you have somebody that is earning $20.00 an hour that his worked his butt off his whole life vs somebody that is making $20.00 flipping a burger that is working their first job. The cost of the food at the place with the $20.00 minimum wage has to go way up to pay those wages. The guy that's been working his whole life has to pay more for the food, because of the high minimum wage thus it hurts him.
