I've said before I don't look only at October for fall precip. Nature doesn't follow calendar months.
In addition, looking solely at DJF temperatures doesn't tell the whole story of a winter in the PNW. You should know that by now.
Finally, you have claimed before that:
1) there IS a correlation, but it's only due to ENSO. Now you're saying that isn't true? Inconsistent...
2) looking at only one station is foolish. But now you're good with it? Inconsistent.
I'm not telling you anything about any specific pattern. Again, there are more ways than one to get to a result, but that doesn't invalidate the overall correlation.
If I put together a composite of the wettest Octobers/Novembers in the PNW, I guarantee they will not be ridgy over the PNW.
Obviously racism sucks, and the only way to solve it is ignoring race, it's so simple. Celebrating black history month, Asian month, Latino month, etc, in schools isn't solving racism, it's strengthening it. Why can't we just have history, without splitting it up in months which is blatantly racist?
We shouldnt be teaching African American kids that they are oppressed and European Americans that they are evil colonizers. We should teach history, but shouldn't acknowledge race today, at this point everybody has equal opportunity, and we should just treat each other like humans. Obviously there will always be racist people in any ethnicity (fun fact, Europeans aren't the only racists), and we can't stop that. The best we can do is ignore race.
Current BLM, reparations, etc, culture isn't solving the problem, it's just making it go the other way.
