My most ideal climate in the US is either northwest MT / northern ID or coastal NH / Maine. Maybe somewhere with LES snow but that might be too insane even for me. Coastal New England is probably the best for overall snow. The upper plains / Midwest is grate for freezing my balls off but is less prolific for snow.

It was close like January 2011. Both busted horribly at the last moment.

I’m surprised people are bailing on the second half of Dec already. I definitely understand frustration from the current pattern though. Mainly cloudy but dry over the next week with no interesting weather at all. We need something to track soon for the sanity of this forum…

I kind of like that area, but it's not quite there weatherwise.

It won’t be like in the summer where we will be bone dry. Some moisture should be able to make it onshore, especially the further north you are. The EPS actually shows wetter than normal conditions for the BC Coast.
