On the GFS, the 925 mb 0C line stays down toward I-70 in IL/IN/OH, so precip north of there generally remains snow. There is a zone of above freezing 2m temps that pokes farther north though, which would lead to a period of lower efficiency snow accumulation or no accumulation.
