Just about every single meso model is showing widespread 40mph winds, and a swath of 50+mph winds from the northern Hood Canal area and across through South Snohomish/North King County on Monday. The HRRR remains adamant that Everett gets whacked with 60+mph. One silver lining is that the worst winds (in densely populated areas at least) are right over the exact same area that got shadowed all week and likely doesn't have the most saturated soil right now, at least not compared to everywhere else.

One week away from the Winter Solstice.

I think it depends on what people are expecting or hoping for. Some cooler weather with mountain snow and perhaps some lowland snow…. We might be looking okay. An arctic airmass pushing south of Seattle with below freezing highs many places….. the odds are looking pretty slim.
