It's true there was a somewhat similar event in June just two years ago (SEA got 1.1", PDX got 1.42"), but days like today are far from typical for this time of year, historically speaking.
6/10/22 was PDX's third wettest June day on record, and there's only three other June days that have exceeded 1". And SEA has only seen 8 other June days that exceeded an inch.
That feature has been sort of quasi-stationary over my house. Some off and on heavy bursts of rain, I'm sure I've picked up a decent amount. Dark clouds too.
Only missing thing is the wind advisories up in the NW interior! Wind is dead calm here but looks like there’s some typical SE gusts up north right now.
