Pretty nice day up on Mount St Helens in terms of views, although terrible for everything else. 40 degrees at the summit at 8:20am, absolutely no refreeze of snow. Not a cloud in the sky, although there was so much blowing snow at times that the visibility would get low, mountain-forecast was calling for 15mph gusts which was absolute BS, it was gusting 30-40MPH at times. Overall a great day though.10 points

I can enjoy many types of weather, and the weenie-mode meltdowns from Jesse are like the cherry atop the sundae for spring warm spells.8 points

To each their own, Enjoy the projects! Currently an amazing 71 degrees here, feels absolutely perfect! Been out working in the yard getting some much needed vitamin D and exercise after a not so great winter of stress, sadness, and non stop busyness. Just be thankful you don’t live in places down in the south that are already seeing 90’s!5 points

Wow! This ENSO crash is about to get real. There has already been a notable drop in all of the regions over the past week or two. I'm thinking it at least goes moderate based on this.5 points

Whatever, I'm pouring buckets of ice all over myself, and screaming at my kids to get inside.4 points

I remember someone a couple days ago was mocking Mark Nelsen for having 77F on his 7 day forecasts.4 points

Sunny and 60 here in Bend. I’m glad we didn’t jump straight into the 70s. Feels plenty warm as it is after building up that cold tolerance through winter.4 points

Incredible day. Just so totally comfortable outside. Some places could actually drop into the 30s again tonight though. 72/36 IMBY today.3 points

Seriously though, I remember as a child, not sure of the year, somewhere between 1991-1994. The first 80 degree day of spring. The excitement, running down to the ditch and jumping in "the deep part," feeling the cool water against my skin, the muddy clay between my toes. It was glorious.3 points

As horrific as it is, we shouldn't mock him. He literally willed this to fruition.3 points

In other news... Our turkey population is exploding up here. Long timers say they had never seen turkey up here until a couple years ago. The Willamette Valley has insane numbers of turkey, I've even seen them in downtown and north Salem recently. What's the turkey situation like up in W. Washington?3 points

I'm reading we have 10 years or less to alter the fate of humanity. Make drastic changes now or DIE. Of course, they said the same thing in 2019. And 2009. And 2006. And 1989. But maybe this time they're right.2 points
