Jesse
Looks like a pretty meh event.Still a possibility PDX goes upper 80s or higher. That is significant by the last week of September.

It's aight, September 28 is the first day with a record high below 90 at PDX. I really wouldn't be shocked if Sunday ends up the hottest day, with deeper offshore flow so some east wind should surface that day. Looks like NW winds by Monday afternoon, hard to get over 85 by this point in the year when that's the case.

snow_wizard
I think the more interesting aspect of this event will be how quickly it emerges from and returns to anomalous cool conditions. I might take a stab at it a bit later tonight. Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! TT-SEA
I think the more interesting aspect of this event will be how quickly it emerges from and returns to anomalous cool conditions. I might take a stab at it a bit later tonight. Pretty muted in Seattle. Its been about normal for the last 2 weeks here... and this 'warm' spell will only be a little above normal up here... and then back to pretty much normal overall for the rest of the week. A lot of places around the Sound have been solidly below this week. SEA is lame...no doubt about it. You could well be right about the warmth being rather unimpressive up here.
