Actually, 2010 had one nearly identical to the upcoming one, and with almost the exact same timing. It’s almost spooky how good that analog has been from a large scale standpoint.
pretty sure summer isn't showing up this year. water temps still in the 60's rain every other day and only a handful of days above 75 so far. 60 degrees atm.
Another 99° afternoon despite full cloud cover. And 11th consecutive 90+ day. Ridiculous for June.
And a bad omen for the remainder of summer, as every post-niño June torch was followed by even worse in Jul/Aug going back to at least the 19th century.
