1. Yes, but there was another one about him wanting to put ladders to help illegal immigrants scale the border wall. America cannot afford to provide healthcare for the whole world. It just leads to longer waiting times for actual citizens for live-saving surgeries and other procedures. I've heard in Canada, you need to wait months for procedures that you could get in a few days or weeks here.
There's also instances of Black people and Hispanics getting prioritized health care and access to monoclonal antibodies during the pandemic just because of their skin color.
2. Of course it's hyperbole, but it still cost billions of dollars in damage and many Black businesses were destroyed. Yet, leftists say that January 6 was worse than September 11 and all the months of the BLM riots combined. What if they allowed the capitol riots to last for 3 days before doing anything to try to stop them.
3. Unless the woman was seriously mentally ill, she should have gotten the death penalty for drowning her baby. Maybe she was not able to afford an abortion, and in this case I can see why people are so terrified over Roe v Wade being rolled back
4. If you were you see me outside walking my dog during the early months of the pandemic, would you have called the police on me?
Also, what about the people who crowded the streets after George Floyd was killed and they were cheered on by the "Stay home, save lives" crowd? Protesting against systemic racism in large crowds does not cause the virus to spread, but Trump rallies and people going hiking or to the beach does. How does COVID-19 know who supports Trump and who doesn't?
5. He also said one person's socialism is another man's neighborliness. Maybe we're talking about democratic socialism like the Nordic countries, but people say democratic socialism is a slow road to pure socialism. That's the boiling frog analogy. The Nordic countries actually became less socialist after they saw some of the policies were not working. Also being very small countries with abundant natural resources and very little cultural diversity, the same strategy might not work in the United States.
