Considering the southern Willamette Valley is seeing gusts 45-50mph it only seems practical for winds to be at least 5mph stronger Salem northward I'd think. I would definitely pull the trigger on a HWWarning.

They usually wait more on advisories than warnings. I have to admit I'm 50/50 on this one for the Seattle area. I've kind of got that sinking feeling (good for most of you).

Really helpful of them to wait till most people are in bed to issue an advisory for a storm happening tonight.

As for tonight's storm. The ECMWF just doesn't that insane with it. I think we could see something good enough to satisfy people, but not be totally out of hand. The current pressure is fairly low, but not up there with the greats. Just my two cents.
