I still have power, although I don't know how. I believe my neighbors directly behind me are out though, so it just missed us. I think I saw that PSE got up to like 189K without power earlier this morning? But I might be making that up....lol

Right after the power went out I looked at obs and we had pretty much light wind to 50 or so …. Just like Renton airport ob 9 gusting 51 which moved east across the highlands. Not sure I’ve seen such a spread. Thought we wouldn’t get much down here after the freight train went down the strait

This is so annoying. Western WA just stays in the screw zone of endless warm AR events and flooding while the pattern never changes. Just retrograde or progress eastward... something... anything different. But nope. Everywhere else is quiet and we are being robbed of any chance of real winter. Time to fill the gap and book another trip after New Years. Way too depressing here.

Just got word that our kids school in Mt Vernon is 2hrs late for now, they are powerless and will assess as we get closer.
