As if it hasn’t happened already, the pac-12 implosion is nearing completion with Cal and Stanford joining the ACC. WSU and OSU are the only 2 schools remaining. Unfortunately for these 2 schools, they’re like stepchildren that nobody wants.

Just so sad.

As a graduate of Oregon State, I don't like the news, but am more optimistic than most since the MW deal is up in 2 years, and the value is very likely not going to be less than $7m (AAC's value since they got raided), with the decent chance it's $10-$12m, since ESPN is vocal they wanted the 7:30 PT spot (their value was $90m for the timeslot), but they only have 2 teams eligible for it (UA, ASU pre-November). Plus CBS will have slots to fill again. Also I think it's an easier path to the playoffs.

Trying to give this UW team the benefits of the doubt as it’s the first game of the season but they are not playing like a top 10.

Refs have thrown it to the Huskies since you made this post. Also Boise State sucks this year. Hard for me to watch a UW game without being filled with rage and dickishly rooting for Penix to suffer an ACL injury. God bless him.

The only way Russ gets past all of this is if he put up career numbers and the Broncos go deep into the playoffs. Otherwise he is done in the NFL I have a feeling.

Pretty funny. I used to live and die with the Seahawks. When they lost I would not look at the sports section in the paper until Thursday or Friday. It ruined my week. I guess I’ve mellowed with age because now when they’re losing I just turn it off and go do something else.

Saw @TigerWoodsLibido comment on Twitter about how OSU and WSU should just give up.

Just curious if any other Ducks and Husky fans feel the same way? I know how I feel, I’d like to see Oregon and Washington crumble under the weight of extensive season travel and become unregretted attrition for their new conference.

Going independent for a couple seasons will be tough but they’ll be good in the MWC. OS’s administration really screwed themselves over by not firing Larry Scott and getting the league to become more respectable.

WSU honestly is the one team that really doesn’t deserve this. But 2 seasons as an independent will then become a top member of the MWC with access to the playoff annually.

UW is in the top 10 and the stadium is more than half empty at kickoff. Wtf? 😑

On a side note, the PAC-12 is 15-0 at the time UW kicked off.

PAC-12 was 18-0 until Arizona just ruined the perfection.   It was going to end tonight anyways since USC is playing Stanford.

Don't really blame some Huskies fans for skipping a game against Tulsa on a gorgeous day.
