Toronto fans are annoying. I'm listening on the radio and the crowd noise is confusing.

Change is constant and constantly wishing things were how they used to be is a recipe for unhappiness, but….  I really hate what’s happened to college football.

Sad day for the west coast. As a Cal fan who lives near Pullman, today stinks. But that Apple TV deal was horrible so I don't blame anyone for jumping other than USCLA.

I thought that Julio catch the other night was funny. Nice for the region to have a fun team to cheer for. I grew up an avid Mariners fan, so many big name stars on that team in the 90s which was when I was really getting into baseball. I stopped investing much energy in rooting for the team once I got out of college, though the 09' team was fun.

Overall, I am much more into baseball this year than I have been for years. I am more interested in specific players than teams, but the new rules have really helped make the game more watchable. Over the past 10-15 years I have had an incredible time every time I go to a major league ball park, but on television the games had become unwatchable. The new rules have made a big difference there. Even though average game time is creeping back up as the season goes along, at least the games will have more flow with the pitch clock and pitchers not being able to throw over to first 15 times in a row anymore.

We also have a great group of stars hitting or about to hit their prime. Julio is just one of that group, it remains to be seen if he can transition into superstardom, he has a lot of work to do at the plate for that to happen, but he's on a very team friendly deal the next several years, and that is a win for the fans.

Another note, once you start getting down to about Salem and points south you start running into almost as many Giants fans and Mariners fans, and a few A's and Dodgers fans here and there. Gotta feel sorry for the A's fans, my wife's uncle and his wife got married at an A's game, they are also massive Raider fans. :(

I was at that game, I thought he caught it, then thought he missed it, and then I saw him raise his glove but I didn't see the ball from my angle so I was sure he missed it...and then everyone started cheering so I realized he caught it. That was fun.

I agree about the pace of play. It's perfect right now.

I follow the Mariners and Kraken closely, otherwise I don't care much about any other sports. I followed the Brewers growing up so I don't really know anything about the Mariners past history other than their ridiculous 2001 season and a few of the famous highlights from their crazy run in the 90s. I went to a few games in the mid-to-late 2010s but they seemed to be poorly run with no plan so there wasn't any point in getting invested. Things are different now.

Seahawks looked fantastic last night!
Wilson looks like complete crap so far this evening! Almost starting to feel bad for him.

Looks like they played their starters until Russ got a TD and then pulled him. Just based on watching gamecast.

Yep! And to be fair it wasn’t all Wilson’s fault that the majority of their drives went nowhere, their receivers are just not that good, and the O-line looked horrific.

I’m back on the Russ’ train for him to do well or at least be better this year. Do I like him? Nah. Will I follow his stat lines? Nah, don’t really care. Do I want him to bounce back? Absolutely.

It’s all about the Seahawks. A huge part of me rooting against him and the Broncos last year was so the Hawks can secure a high draft pick. Now that’s all said and done, I don’t have anything against him.
