Reg
Rain is definitely done here and ended up with 0.25". This is the third day so far this season to end with that number at my station, might look a bit strange on my precipitation graph later on. Pn1ct0g3n
Definitely got that ineffable fall feeling in the air. Lower sun angle and cooler nights despite daytime temps being not much cooler than they were before. Starting to see the occasional yellow leaf too.

Thunder98
Downtown Phoenix could see a low of only 51F Wednesday morning. Just a month ago they had lows in the upper 80's! Tis the season.
Anti Marine Layer
Sun angles are getting low as the sun spends more and more time behind the house next to me each day. Back in August when the sun angle was about 26.56 degrees from straight up, the top of the shadow reached the top of my window, which I estimate to be about 8 feet. At that time, the shadow length was 50% of an object's height. I estimate the house is 12 feet away with a roof overhang of about 2 feet, so that means the house is about 28 feet tall at its highest point. I've got a spectacular view from my bedroom window. Gotta love the population density here.
Thunder98
Lows of 30's already? In October 2019, I had some chilly nights in the 30's, but the says were quite hot on some days. Winter is came early. lol. I hope we get good storms soon.

Pn1ct0g3n
Wind advisories all over the place. Chilly night left heavy dew all over my house and car. One of the most “flick of a switch” fall arrivals we’ve had in a long time.
Anti Marine Layer
Does wet or dry weather affect the number of licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop? Meteorologists may never know.
