Today the sunrise is about 2 seconds earlier than yesterday.

Also the sunset is finally at 5:00 PM and we have gained 10 minutes of daylight since the solstice.

I was hoping to see the thread summary with Top Posters In This Topic, Popular Days,
Popular Posts, etc. Thought it might be a bug that it only did it if more than one page, but looks like iFred limited them to PNW threads only.

I didn't even know there are thread summaries.  Do you mean the panel with the info on the right side of the threads as shown here?

I managed to lock myself out of my car today and racked up a $165 bill to get it opened. But hey, the weather was nice!

And the sun gave me this as a parting gift:

Currently 35F this morning in the Santa Maria Valley, colder than forecasted. Today it's forecasted to be near 80F! This is like Elko, NV type of diurnal range.

Seems to have peaked at 76F here today. Spent a good while washing my Oldsmobile for the first time in a while, including under the hood.

Too bad you couldn't enjoy gloomy and cool weather for it.

Sometimes even sunny weather has its benefits. Washing cars for example like I was doing

They could have a song, "The gloom will come back tomorrow ... tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you're only a day away." that you sing whenever a shift from offshore flow to strong onshore flow is forecast.

The ornamental pears like it. Already spotted an early bloomer near my house.

The warm / cold / wet / dry roller coaster of Californian winters can confuse the hell out of introduced deciduous trees.
