The weather may be dry for a while but at least temperatures are mostly staying in the cooler side.

Today the sunrise is about 2 seconds earlier than yesterday. 

Also the sunset is finally at 5:00 PM and we have gained 10 minutes of daylight since the solstice.

Clouds in the sky can be useful for solving jigsaw puzzles, but not solid marine layer clouds.

Love those “winter” days with mild temperatures, a smattering of high clouds, and you can see the mountains in sharp detail.

Currently 35F this morning in the Santa Maria Valley, colder than forecasted. Today it's forecasted to be near 80F! This is like Elko, NV type of diurnal range.

The warm / cold / wet / dry roller coaster of Californian winters can confuse the hell out of introduced deciduous trees.
