Mild and pleasant. Almost springlike compared to the downright wintry conditions of late.

“Can’t see Catalina anymore” definitely falls under the umbrella of springlike though

Sun should be about 1 degree higher at solar noon today than on the solstice. Looks like it should be a warm day today.

Fog has returned to that spot just north of PV. Hanging right off my coast like an indecisive diner.

Such a beautiful day today! Temps in the mid 60’s feels very warm these compared to last month where is chilly and wet for most of December.

Much warmer today, except for the beaches, natch. 77F in Winnetka!  Corner thermometer reads 66F.

Sun is still out here, but there is still fog nearby and I can hear the foghorns from my house.

The fog has arrived. I swear it was a lot less frequent here prior to the late 2010s. Inversions are shallower but stronger than ever.
