If you think Xi Van Fleet is lying, then I guess you take "No one will own anything and everyone will be happy" to be a positive thing. And the current design is pretty awful. It's what's referred to in the flag community as a SOB: (state) seal on blue (background). The most common state flag design of all. Totally unoriginal. The best flags are relatively simple, often geometric, designs. Think NM, TX, CO, etc.

UT just retired their losing SOB flag. MN should, too.

Mississippi changed their flag design a few years ago, and I'd say it greatly deserved a refresh!
