Pn1ct0g3n
After a teasing sprinkle this afternoon, Christmas draws to a close with a steady, calming rain. Happy holidays, CA weatherheads.

This is wettest month since Feb 2019, which recieved 5.22” and we have more rain coming this week and tonight! Once I beat the Feb 2019 benchmark, this month will be the wettest month since Feb 2017! La Niña? What La Niña? Keep it coming. Bust that drought

AquariusRadar
Upper level low between Hawaii and SoCal kicking up some thunderstorms and some of that high level moisture could get pulled north if that cyclone over Seattle dives straight south. Potential setup for more rain and snow. 1
Pn1ct0g3n
Nothing like a good storm to clear all the gunk out of the air. Rain and gusty winds woke me up at 2am a couple of times, but the result is the kind of day our chamber of commerce used to put on postcards. It was pretty effective at bringing in transplants a century ago.

Reg
Getting cold very quickly tonight. Not even midnight yet and already dipped below 40F here. Had to adjust my storm total again as windy conditions during the storm caused my Davis gauge to underreport precipitation by .05", according to my manual rain gauge. Anti Marine Layer
Looks like inversion was wiped out ahead of this next storm unlike the June Gloom event that preceded the Christmas one. Rejoice.
