A few minor heat waves, but the generally cool/rainy start to fall should make bad fires less likely for a while.

Sun was coming out but then the fog came back in. Groundhog Day repeat of yesterday.

Unlike yesterday the royal pain gardeners are here making a lot of noise and causing even more noise by making my dog bark at them. They come once a week.

Carbon copy of yesterday. Warmest valleys are seeing the 80s while some exposed coasts barely skirt the 60s. Similar to a typical “heatwave” in April.

After some rain early next week, it looks like it will very warm and dry with 80’s and 90’s. Could see no rain for rest of the month.

I think it is way too premature to say that this month could be rainless since this month just got started! I do have a feeling we are going to have a Santa Ana event or two before the next significant storm arrives, however.

NWS Oxnard mentioned the possibility of that happening.
