Heat backed off just after noon today, after peaking at 91F. All of the previous five days were 97-99F.

The noisy gardeners are gardening across the street with their horrific, horrendous ear-damaging leaf blowers. They come every Wednesday at 7 am, so there's no such thing as a peaceful hump day morning here.

They shouldn't come that early, as many people are still asleep at 7 am. Not everyone is a morning person or has to get up at the crack of dawn.

Never had a green lawn or trees so big that power leaf blowers were required. In the dry country here they are a noisey and hated dust devil. The gasoline version is soon to be gone, I hope. Bad for the birds gas or electric. Nothing so pleasent as the quiet whissssskkkk of a bamboo rake.

More and more people are getting fake grass but there's still enough people with real grass that we need to suffer with gardener noise.
