There’s a small chance Winnetka will hit the century mark for the first time this year today. They’re at 95 and still have a few hours of blaring sun to go. The moon angle will be like a mid-November sun angle, so you could pretend it is the sun and use that as an explanation for the November-like weather in the PNW.
