Thank God an El Nino is looking more and more likely. I miss having an active southern jet. Im really hoping this makes the PDO flip more to positive. The Pacific has been a mess for years now.

I told my wife when I retire, I want us to have one winter season in the UP, and then we can go wherever she wants. The caveat is that if it is an extremely below normal snow year, I get an extension of one more winter. Real estate is pretty cheap up there. So we'll just find something that fits our needs, enjoy the snow, and then probably off to Charleston, SC or someplace like that. I've never really considered KC my true home anyway, and I'm sick of getting my hopes up every year. If we live someplace warm, I can just set aside the snow issue and enjoy the nice weather.
