I remember Andrew very well, had a good friend/co-worker who was from Homestead, and his house was flattened. He saw what *was* his neighborhood in areal footage and it was nothing but foundations and driveways. A few buddies and myself talked about going down to help with searching and clean up, but realized that with our limited means (starving college students at University of Georgia...GO DAWGS!!) we would not be fully self-sufficient for more than a week or so, and the last thing they needed was 3-4 college students coming down to drain already stretched resources. We passed a hat, gave our friend as much money as we could scrounge together and sent him on his way.
Tip of my hat to you for being in the Rad-Onc field. My wife is a cancer registrar, and its tough work. She came into this job from working in Hospice care, and she thought she could handle it, but it is proving to be quite the challenge mentally.
I migrated out west in 1994 because I was sick of the heat in the south and all of the chaos in Atlanta (where my family is). When I get homesick, all I need to do is go back for a visit. I do miss seeing my family, but not *that* much!
I care and I want the exact opposite of whatever he wants and I want to revel in his misery because sharing a weather forum for nearly two decades makes you feel bad things for worse people.
You most definitely are not Jesse... thankfully! But you have recently mentioned me wanting 90s so thought it was worth a clarification. I enjoy 80 and sun as well but in early June mid 70s and sun is just perfect.
