Portland officially recorded snowfall (at least a trace) on 12 of the last 26 days. That might be a record for this time of year, but I don't even know how to look that up.

Not sure how warm it will be the next couple days once the east wind turns cold. But today is really nice.

 

And not sure why you would expect melting at 33 with a dry air mass.

Still have about 8 inches of rock hard snow in the yard. It just seems to shrink a little each day while not softening up much now. Looks more like a normal scene after a snow rather than something epic. That is an improvement!

Yes, my gut feeling is a cooler and more active spring than we’ve seen in several years. We’re due. But I am wrong all the time so it isn’t really a big deal either way.

Holy moly the Euro looks crazy next week. A solid Gorge driven event for Portland would really put a nice bow on this whole thing. Especially so historically late in the season.
