Pn1ct0g3n
Very familiar pattern where the southern Santa Monica Bay struggles to clear. Normally by this time of year the Pacific High has migrated south for the winter, but 2021 has been a different beast. Honestly not bad for early November, better for us than wildfire weather. Anti Marine Layer
Equation of Time maxed out at around 7:50 PM PDT (0250 UTC, 11/3) with the sundial being nearly 16 1/2 minutes ahead of the clock. The Equator got their earliest sunset and sunrise of 2021. Most places north of the Equator will have their earliest sunset between today and the Winter Solstice. For Lake Forest, it happens December 4. Back in So Cal, the muck is pushing back ashore, but may burn off faster tomorrow than today.
