I saw a study from the Easton Glacier on Mount Baker showing estimates of 1300 inches. Coastal Ranges of BC and SE Alaska have similar estimates around 1300-2000 inches. Regardless the snowiest places in the world are in the coastal range stretching from the PNW into SE Alaska. The Southern Andes and Patagonia Icefield are in same boat but the glaciers drop much further close to SL. For perspective parts of the Patagonia Icefield are the same equivalent latitude as Olympia and glaciers extend down to sea level. Shows you how ridiculously cold the Humboldt current is. I’m jealous!!

Btw, I've been to West Yellowstone in the middle of winter. It was incredibly satisfying to snowmobile around the town in between cars. They even don't plow at least some of the roads for just that purpose. I loved every minute of it except when I got fogged out on Two Top and got lost.

Mt Baker and Mt Rainier are the snowiest places that we've put a weather station in. I saw an article stating that there are places in the Patagonian icefield that get twice as much snow but don't have any weather stations. Not to mention the BC and Alaska coast mountains... there's a 0% chance that these select spots in Washington Cascades are actually the snowiest places on the planet. In fact, the southwestern slopes of Mt Baker are probably snowier than the ski resort where the snow data is taken... so these probably aren't even the snowiest places in Washington.

As @Tom says. Hopefully the lake can be a lending friend. At least downturn.
