Local Grid has ticked up my snow totals to 6-11"!

Latest HRRR....0.3 - 0.4 qpf thru 3:00am into Cook/DuPage...continues to snow past this...temps in the low 20's and gusty winds will be quite a scene later tonight.  Might have to pull an all nighter.

Going to head out in a bit and do some errands and crush leg-day at the gym!

This storm stunk just like the stench on a monkey and the rest of the winter. As my old mentor friend Jonesey said, we'll get what we get...well screw that!  Congrats to those getting a good total out of this,,, been the same place all year.  Ready for 90s and humidity I suppose, that's what the media wants us to have so they'll keep preaching about it until it comes true.

The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

LOT is saying amounts could be higher then currenly forecasts

For those who are interested, here is  LOT's wording:

Areas falling under the heaviest band of snow, which at the
present time looks to favor portions of Cook...eastern Dupage and
at least southern Lake county Illinois, a good 5 to 10 inches with
isolated higher amounts appear likely.

Looks like the stream up by Sheboygan is taking on a NE trajectory

Convergence is building up that way and should be here later tonight. My snow has settled down to 3"...would be awesome to get another 8"+. I've noticed that the HRRR is picking up on a secondary band later tomorrow afternoon that hits NE IL.

Visibility already dropped in these scattered snow showers in N Cook. Heading into DuPage shortly.
