Shorter days mean it usually cools off more quickly in the evening. I don't miss June-September when it was still 98F and barely getting dark at 9:00 PM. No parking lot campouts and hunger games this year for the door-busters on Black Friday, thanks to COVID-19. Though I'm sure many would risk COVID-19 to save some money.
