With the sun angle you could also plunk this day into an average August and it wouldn’t feel out of place.

Interesting seeing NWS San Diego's "This Day In History" for today (April 11). I don't quite remember but I might have been the person who reported the thunderstorm over Murrieta to the NWS that day, as my station  was the only one that I know of that recorded of 1" in Murrieta that day. I did some digging and I actually found my posts on this forum from that day as it was happening.

In that case maybe Westwood could use a few windmills.

Also just noticed that Downtown L.A. broke a record high on the 8th, with a high of 95F. Not sure what the old record was, but the record highs for the preceding four days all still belong to 1989 - all of them in triple-digits.
