NWS Seattle mentions the possibility of a "strong convergence zone" on Thursday. Only calling for snow north of Everett and a dusting at that, but they say they are continuing to closely monitor the potential for lowland snow on Thursday. Took another look at the the EURO and Hi-Res models and the Wednesday-Thursday system looks decently impressive. Fairly strong cold front Wednesday morning that transitions into an unstable and convective air mass with plenty of banding into Thursday. 850s near -6 and 925's in the negatives. Timing also looks favorable as the CZ only sets up Wednesday evening, so if precip rates can drop the temperature close to the freezing mark, things may work out. No clue where it will set up but at least some interesting weather coming up this week.

GRR update (here we go again!) We expect about a tenth of an inch of icing across much of the advisory area with up to 0.15 to 0.20 inches in the higher ground of Osceola and Clare Counties, the same areas that were hit hard a couple weeks ago. Fortunately, winds will be light through Tuesday, generally 10 mph or less. Temperatures could edge above freezing across Mason and Newaygo Counties during the morning while remaining below freezing during the afternoon across northern Osceola and Clare Counties.
