And the cherry blossoms that you see in Issaquah next week will eventually become the leaves of autumn. Back to school is right around the corner!

Ahhh... but the spring of 2018 is right around that corner.   :)

And those late January cherry blossoms are still on fully leafed out trees 9 months later.

Those daffodils will be flowering in 6 weeks or less.

Back in Bonney lake to enjoy a proper winter solstice. Pretty frosty out still. Oh how I missed low sun angles.

Its that different between a 19 and 26 degree sun angle?

A 26-degree sun angle is not Cabo.    :)

We are back to that level in a few weeks.

You talk about our low sun angle in October being so great and that is higher than 26 degrees.

I find the November - January sun angle to be sort of annoying to the eyes since its seemingly blinding you all the time when its sunny.

Unless there is snow on the ground of course... then I embrace the low sun angle.

Spaz alert!

It is sort of interesting to say you so dearly miss a slightly lower sun angle.    Fred is more sensitive to sun angle than maybe anyone.   His own fetish in a forum full of fetishes.

Don't think of sunglasses so much in the winter.   Then you are driving at 2 p.m. and being blinded by a massive ball of light in front you!   Winter sun can seem so much brighter because its in your face rather than over your head.

Having the sun angle hang below 20 degrees all day is interesting and not something they experience in the mid-Atlantic.

Stab yourself in the eyes with an ice pick and you won't have to worry about it!

Good luck watching snow melt after that, though.  Trade offs...

Still sort of a fetish.    Like looking for cherry blossoms in late January.   :)

Its like our early to mid November sun angle there now and I think that is pretty low.

Apparently the cornucopia of blossoms that will be here in a few days don't feel the same way!

It's more of a NW flow, so really just cold maritime air wrapping around the low, no real offshore flow and dry air advection at the midlevels until Sunday and even then it's pretty much just relegated to Bellingham and points northward.

Does look sort of gunky unless we can get solid clearing on Saturday night.

Looks like some east flow over the cascades also.

We come from the land of the ice and snow.

So I'm sensing that it would be preferred if the 12z Euro were to verify over the 18z GFS since the Euro is colder starting Friday late afternoon?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!
