Anxiously watching that band near Port Angeles. I'll find out in the next hour or so whether I'm destined to get hit or not.

I'm becoming more and more cautiously optimistic the more I watch it.

Really starting to fire up on the North end of Hood Canal now which is usually a good sign and so far the whole batch is holding together nicely.

That does look pretty promising for just about everyone from Seattle north.

I'm watching that one closely as well.

That type of batch can often reignite the CZ once it gets further East toward the Sound.

You Got a good point there

Aww man it's too bad the politics thread was shut down. I appreciated it, talking to you all on there helped get me out of my bubble and forced me to do more research on things than I would have done otherwise.

Sounds like it'll be back up in a few days.

Yep that snow to the WNW is heading straight towards the area here.

Based on the radar I'm guessing an ESE line between Shoreline-Kirkland-Redmond-Fall City may be hit the hardest with a solid 1-3".

I'm guessing I will be close to the Northern edge of where it sets up here in Mountlake Terrace.

Down to 32 here with a fresh dusting of snow. Maybe some more snow this weekend. Could turn out to be a decent winter after all.

One of us has to die tonight.

Unless is spreads out and strengthens  :o

I'm right on the very Northern edge and light snow just started about 10 minutes ago. May take a drive a few miles South if things still look the same in another half hour or so.

BLI now up to 19 days of 33 or colder highs this winter.

This winter continues to wrack up impressive endurance stats. The best winter in a very long time in that regard. This one is going to be interesting to grade on a region wide basis. Some aspects of it are very impressive, while some areas continue to be just mediocre for total snowfall.

Looks like King County is far from done tonight. It will be interesting to see what surprise precip bands develop.

Just started to very lightly snow as well here. Looks like North Seattle should be in the sweet spot.

I think Bellingham is up to, like, average Baltimore-winter status by now. I'm at 18" of snow or so

Seattle is maybe Richmond.

The Seattle area actually compares fairly decently to Virginia for winters, although Seattle is capable of greater anomalous snowfall and has greater potential for the occasional abnormally cold month.

I think what Bellingham has seen would be a pretty decent winter for Baltimore, snow and cold both considered. Definitely better than average for DC!

With more to come...

Nice band heading to the southeast towards Seattle. Looks like it's strengthening with time.

As the flow becomes more NW that could effect much of King County.

Took a drive South into Shoreline and it's dumping here with huge flakes.

I'm afraid my place will be likely continue to be just barely scraped by the North edge of the zone.

I would love to see one more good snow shower tonight to top off the half inch I have on the ground.  The snow I have is on the edge of freezing up now.  Hard to believe we almost to March now.  The last several days have felt like late December.

Did you get solidly hit by the zone today?  If not your time has to come.  Could be this weekend or next week.

I feel like I'm in the screw zone now.  It was a decent winter, but I've never seen more 34 - 37 degree rain in my life, including now (again).  Just relentless.  That definitely takes some of the shine off this winter.  Plus, $200+ utility bills have been nasty.  Sticking snow only happened here on 2 occasions, but there have been 3 useless ice storms.  This winter has been downgraded to a B -.  Total snow of 8".  Bring on spring asap.

Seeing some stuff beginning to appear out of nowhere over the part of King County south of the zone. I'm intrigued.
