Came down steady for about 4 hours but we had 3 hours 40 minutes of white sand followed by 20 minutes of fat flakes. That would make the depth at my place about 4-5", which should hopefully be enough to knock temps down a couple degrees Thursday. Current forecasted high is 38.man, you must live in the best spot in Lincoln haha we would need close to 4" today to get to 4-5". Feels like we have close to an inch tops over here. Another really underrated area are areas between Normal/Capitol and Hwy 2. Those are old houses but really nice. Wouldn't mind living there as my first house. Areas just South of Downtown remind me of South Side Chicago. I consider it "moderate" snow when I can't see the treeline about a half mile away from my place. I can BARELY see the treeline. Snow was supposed to begin at 11 ish, with up to 3 inches accumulating throughout the evening. It's now 3:00, my son is home, and would just be getting ready to be dismissed otherwise.
