I had it really bad as a kid. From the moment school started back up after the new year until about mid March or so was brutal for me. Between hating school and being such a fishing freak I would have a countdown on my wall calendar to opening day of fishing season, and the last day of school. All I could do was watch fishing shows on tv on the weekends, organize my tackle box, and hope for snow in the meantime. The 1986-88 stretch was awful for me I specifically remember. Those dark wet days were tough. Now life is so busy it doesn’t affect me as much…But it’s still there a bit from time to time.
