Picked up almost 2 inches, now the sun is almost coming out! 28 degrees currently, low of 27.

Low of 37 here. Would be neat to see some snow mix in with some showers later this evening.

The next four days will take the edge off of our mild February too.

Looks like that interchange is approximately 925 ft elevation.

Snow down west of Preston to an elevation around 500 feet. And I think the i90 traffic cam in North Bend is also a little over 500 feet.

WOOOOHOOO! Mount Bachelor finally got their snow depth UP TO 100"!!! By next week it'll probably be in the 140s-160s!

It’s a big construction site up near the highway 18/I-90 merger. We’re a sub contractor company and have 4 stormwater treatment sites up here. The construction site runs along 4 miles of highway 18 before tiger mountain roughly.

I had to net my cherry trees to keep the deer from eating them. We always have 3-6 deer in and out of the yard. She was bedding down every night in the yard last spring with her fawns. They eat EVERYTHING

I’ve driven that stretch of 18 a few times, I thought I recognized that power line corridor.

Those south winds tomorrow could dam some cold air up along the north shore for a bit.  Probably a north of the Fraser special.  
 

GFS has been increasing amounts for here the past couple runs but it’ll be very borderline. Probably 500-1000ft snow level for a bit before it warms up

Has the HRDPS been running on weatherbell.  Seems like it’s been offline on the timbits site.

They’re making Highway 18 into 2 lanes each direction instead of 1 lane going both ways. It’s a deadly highway right now being 1 lane and narrow here. They’re also re-doing the merge point with I-90 and building a new bridge over raging river.

Supposedly 2026…but knowing construction it’ll probably be more like 2030. Believe it was funded by Biden’s big infrastructure bill.

That Raging River bridge is no small deal.  The river is in a deep canyon there.

No doubt the GFS OP brings snow further west than the 0z with the late week system over the East Puget Sound Lowlands.  Mid level temps check out with heavy precip rates.

My orchard is in a 2 acre portion of my property that is surrounded by a 8 foot fence. That area is deer free.

I know we're looking at equatorial temps, but those temps in the Arctic are off the charts and Antarctica isn't looking great either.

I think the river is about 150 feet below the bridge level.  So hard to judge when you're driving over it.

Antarctica was actually running quite cold earlier this century.  Not sure how it's been the last few years.

I live just a few miles south of there right against the foot hills. Amazingly got nothing here. C-Zone would not budge.

That's a big change.  They had been hitting record high sea ice for several years running not that long ago.  Cyclical?

Yeah about 3” and snowing here still. And to answer @MR.SNOWMIZER question it’s like 100 feet.
