Lot of back and forth on all models for the 7-12 day time period. Not sure I believe anything right now.

So far Tillamook hasn’t gotten there. Temps as of 2pm. 80 for PDX! Forest Grove, Vancouver and Troutdale leading the way at 81.

10 straight 70+ days in May...not likely.

Last May pulled it off, but even other very warm Mays like 2019, 2018, or 2016 didn't get close.

The deck is actually too hot on my bare feet.  This was not a problem earlier in the week.   It needs to be in the 40s and raining all summer.   That will solve this problem!

GFS also puts a sort of deformation/convergence band North of Seattle with ~0.6" of rain for Everett Sunday night. Euro is also much less dramatic and pretty dry though.

Just to add to the model riding fun... the 18Z GFS is coming in even more amplified than the 12Z run by the middle of next week.

I am also on Team 18Z GFS!   Likely stuck on the losing side this time around.

Oh, then there’s a very good chance they put you up for free. Delta has been good to me the times I’ve had a flight plan on their airline go awry. Talk to a Delta agent when you land in SLC and explain what happened.

Looks like El Nino is gone around Nino Region 3.4. Monday reading was +0.6C probably +0.4C now. I expect La Nina definitely to be in place by time we start August!!!.
