His voice is high pitched and kind of irritating. I think that hurts him too. I can get beyond that, he is very rational and energized.

This photo was taken in January 1949 right down the hill from where I lived in the LA foothills for 28 years. How I wish I could have been there then! It never snowed in the 28 years I lived there (1992-2020), although it did graupel a couple of times.

I've noticed this on our weather maps actually. That temperature "floor" for the arctic likely depends more on the thermal capacity of ice than our atmosphere's ability to expel that thermal energy.

I threw my vote away in 2020. I'm done voting for Democrats in federal elections out of spite (still split my votes in state and local elections), but I genuinely do not like Trump and will always think the Republican party's biggest mistake in history is rallying around him. So I wrote in Nikki Haley and called it a day. I lived in solid red North Dakota at the time, though, so I didn't feel dirty doing that. Now that I live in a closer state (though it will definitely be blue given the fact that our governor is on the ticket), I feel less inclined to do that.
