Men need to protect themselves. Even if she out earns him she’ll find some way to eviscerate him in family court if he doesn’t protect himself. Or what if she takes a couple years off work when she has kids and uses that to soak him for alimony? Getting married is fine, but men have to protect themselves. You can still have a loving committed relationship without putting yourself at risk.

I hear you and get it, but I love the trees too much. Growing up in So Cal and living here for close to 20 years now, I am still in awe of the natural beauty we have. Having said that, the constant dropping of needles, branches, sap, pollen, and cones is almost a full- time job to deal with.
