Man that winter of 92-93 was pretty epic for portland. i was only like 8 and still living in Eugene. But it looks like snow on new year's eve, a long dry cold stretch in January, and then a big snowfall in February. A little bit of action each winter month. The holy trifecta. Would love to see something similar for the winter of 26-27.

Wonder why you outperform Chehalem Mtn so well? An old student of mine lives by the towers at 1,500' and only had a light dusting this am and only 2" total for the week. She has a commanding view straight across to the Coast Range and points everywhere else. Wind currents maybe? Warmest am this week at 35f. Only .02" precip overnight. Disappointing but didn't expect much here. First Spring Chinook caught on the Willamette River the other day near Sellwood/Portland so time to shift gears from hoping for cold and snow. Need some warmth now if I'm in my sled out fishing. I don't fish in the cold anymore. My luck will be we have a cold spring now and I'll freeze my almost 76 year old baggettes off. I'm ready for some warmer May sun angles on my skin IF I'm fishing and I will be in April. I'll let March be March but when April rolls around, I'm ready for some nice warmer weather to fish in. Go Mariners!!!
