CFSv2 temp departures first 5 days of May...

Not the time of year to have major temperature departures.  The average high temp for early May (generally low 60s) is about perfectly comfortable assuming full sunshine.  Last May was one of the few recent Mays that yielded that extremely desirable weather on a frequent basis.

I wish today's weather could repeat for the next 3 weeks or so. Perfect spring day, high 67°.

Currently forecast holds temps between 40-55° through Wednesday. Pretty boring forecast.

18z GFS showing Tuesday and being a pretty mild one into the area.

Forecast for next week has been warming up actually. Now every day is near 50° or above. If the EURO plays out it could be 70° on Tuesday! 65-68° in far SE WI.

Rain likely starting tomorrow night with heavy rain wording at that.

On a side note: 12z EURO is showing highs west of I-35 and south of I-70 near 100° on the Monday the 5th!

My forecast is very wet for next week. Porbably no sunshine until maybe end of the week. Temps are looking more like March than late April.

I'll take that, but more importantly pointing out we have a 0% chance of hitting 100F on May 5th.

Lol, note the location/area that I said. It wasn't in Wisconsin or anywhere near it!

A pleasant surprise that it isn't raining yet.

12z GFS rainfall through 12z Wednesday.

Tomorrow AM rush hour looks like a soaker for a good chunk of Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana.

What a win by the Blackhawks! I know Keith got the top star of the game, but dang nabbit Crawford was right up there with him! HUGE second period with the Hawks being outshot 17-3. But I had a feeling the Blues wasted their opportunities, and I was right. Hawks came out guns blazing in the 3rd and ended any hope the Blues had of taking it back to St. Louis! Wow, what a freakin response after being down 2-0, let's take the next series and keep this rolling!

Hawks win!!!!  Hawks win!!!!  Hawks win!!!!  This team just showed the entire NHL why they are the champs...down 0-2 in the series and come back to win 4 straight against a respected team in the NHL.  I'm sure Chitown is electric after today's victory!!!!

Ended up catching up to that cell just to my west this afternoon and it went tornado warned about 20 minutes after I got there! I snapped some pics of the massive super cell. I missed out snapping a pic of the elephant trunk funnel cloud, also was two brief touch downs from this super cell. I was surprised to see all the chasers out and about!

This pic was snapped by some chasers from the Hastings NWS office. Same storm I was on.

That photos is really good.

No severe weather over this way. Few thunder showers tonight though.

Nice breezy rain this morning. Did not really get any rain to speak of overnight though. T-storms to the south seems to be shunting a lot of moisture off to the east.

Only 0.23" at the airport here. 0.27" in Racine. Looks like a long lull about to start.

With a warmer day forecast tomorrow the grass is really going to take off. Will probably have to cut it next week when it dries out...
