People should be piling in at any moment to express their excitement for the unusual and epic event on our door step that is 7 to 10 days away... ECMWF shows low 40s on Sunday... near 40 on Monday... and in the mid to upper 30s on Monday in the Seattle area. The SW part of King County and Pierce County get shadowed. Which happens frequently in this type of situation. So even if the ECMWF verified... you might not get much snow. Of course details can change. Gradient Keeper
Really good Euro run. Cold northerly flow, then a backdoor blast. Quite close to a regional blast. Kona low. Be prepared for a rapid move to a colder scenario with timing moving ahead quickly and the GEM and even our decrepit, lowly GFS latching on. C'MON!!!!
TT-SEA
Interestingly... the GFS lead the way with the cold last time and the ECMWF finally got on board. The GFS shows nothing much at all this time... it will be interesting to see if the ECMWF trends in that direction now.
