Here we go. We don't stop model riding for anything! Ever! Period. Maybe we see something interesting around the 19th-21st? I base this on nothing just trying to 'will' a Christmas surprise to happen.

I appreciate you continuing to share these even when run after run sucks. Exercise in futility? Nah. An act of hope.

Day 10

You don't see that every day.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say there will be a huge surprise this winter that nobody is expecting.  Just don't know what that will be exactly.

Could salvage a few chilly days out of that mess.  In fact the latest ECMWF metoegram has SEA pretty nippy on Tuesday with 45/33.

This won't last more than 10-14 days or so.... or.... so....

The pattern is just so extremely whacked that something almost has to happen later on.

This would have to qualify as one of the driest days ever seen in the US if it verifies.

Getting death banded now. Will probably surpass last winters total in the next 10-15mins. 😂

Party gets started for CA towards the holidays on the 00z EPS.

Can even see the split flow in precip anomalies w/ the southern branch going into SoCal & northern branch up in BC.

00Z EPS could not be more boring.    And as Phil mentioned... the end of the run shows the STJ heading into CA so while it looks like troughing is closer its actually not a wet pattern up here.

No returns on radar all night. Aggressive drizzle outside. Wound up with 0.5” one of the biggest totals of the year. 15.18” on the year puts us officially half of average.

Seems the solar panel is failing to charge the anemometer batteries. So it’s essentially been running on battery power for months. Barely works under full sun, otherwise nada.

I think I can modify the power cable to work w/ a 5V AC adapter but will need to climb up the damn chimney to get to the unit. Which I can’t f**king do right now. I’m going geek-mad. 😡
