We are halfway through the miserable month of June.

Raining in Vegas, but so far the ground is dry here.

Woodland Hills has averaged 15 degrees below normal for highs for the first 15 days of June. Pretty remarkable how climate change and global warming can cause record cold in some areas.

Cedar City, UT was only 70 yesterday. Normal high is 85.

At least it looks like we will break out of the PNW furnace, CA refrigerator pattern for a while.

Got to see some nice towering cumulonimbus clouds in the distance today once the low crud burned off.

Wow, the SST's anomilies are getting more and more above avg along the CA coastline. This explains why the lows have been above avg on the Central Coast.

That's pretty normal for them. I don't understand how anyone could stand to live there.

To call today's weather beautiful would be an understatement. 100% sun, light breeze, and a temperature in the low 70s makes it feel like I'm on the beach. Even for a cloud lover like myself, I'll take a day like this after 3 straight weeks of marine layer.

The sun has come out here in Orange today, even though there is still some marine layer cloudiness to the south and southwest of here. It is clear to the east, though.

Yesterday was the warmest and sunniest day here in Orange in quite some time.
