GFS runs past D7 are a game of chance and should be used for entertainment only, and not for investment purposes. That's my new saying.

Pretty awesome for a forecasted 1-3" but I think you stole half of @tStacsh's snow 2" here so far that settled down to 1.5" cuz was flufff stufff Anyways, another plow-worthy snow (my 9th of the season and just 1 behind last winter's total) and while I have 8" at my stake, it was affected by winds the other day so I'd safely call Harrison closer to 9" OTG. NAM12 backed-off on more snow here during these next rounds so we'll see. Its SMI's moment it would appear. Really wish APX's snow cover map was accurate here but it more often than not is way off. Shows Gladwin with 3" as of 11 am today but they've been reporting 6" for days now!

The new normal.

I’m feeling pretty confident we get hit with a decent snowstorm here in RI. Perhaps it will be enough to end the 6” snowstorm drought in BOS. The CMC did give me a slight pause with how amped it looked at 18z. GFS Op is as lost as ever—even among its own ensemble members. The Euro and Euro AI have locked in on a 10-15” snowstorm for my area the past few runs. I’m curious to see how the models respond to the extra recon data tonight.
