She of course complained about the meteorologists being wrong. Tried to tell her that what she witnessed was very rare and no meteorologist would normally predict 3-4"/hr rates. I'd say that if it were up to me to decide, I would go with 4-8inches with locally higher amounts in spots. I can't imagine if our temps were in the upper 20's for the duration of this event.
