Jesse
They probably are. I am supposed to be down by Mt. Lassen next weekend. The cold snap falling apart in the models was actually a good thing. My fiance' said she didn't want to go if we were going to get a bunch of snow up here while we were gone (Because my brother might not be able to make it up to take care of the animals.). Now that it should just be a wet weekend, my house sitter will be able to make it up. I've never actually been to Mt. Lassen so I am looking forward to it.That's awesome. Great area. I've been through a few times. Especially back when my brother lived in Carson City, Nevada. We camped at Lake Helen one time and walked the geothermal area at Bumpass Hell by full moon. That was pretty amazing. What area and why? I imagine a lot of the park is inaccessible right now. The Hat Creek area might be open for hiking. Dave
I wonder if Dolt got anything last night. It was a near miss. It snowed most of the night, but was always a degree or so too warm and didn't stick. Probably would have ended up with 4"+ if it had been just a bit colder. Some of the hills around Eugene got hammered. Here on the valley floor, I got boned. Very minor dusting on roofs, grassy areas, etc. Bummer. Time to start model riding for warm ridges.
