Timmy Supercell
I see today was a bit diverse for some. Here I had a wonderful outdoorsy kind of day, high of 56, occasional sprinkles and overcast skies the whole day. Felt like 60, and felt like Spring was knocking on the door. Honestly wanted there to be legitimate showers to complete my experience. I don't mind being done with winter but I know a couple/few inches are probably around the corner sometime before March ends. I know this area almost too well. Let that happen, but let the majority of March be like today! bainbridgekid
I get the impression Seattle NWS is getting a little tired of the rain . . . Keep hearing the Creedence song...Who`ll Stop the Rain...with eachsuccessive model run. Sadly...it will not be this forecasteralthough some drying through the day Friday and into Saturdaymorning is expected thanks to a weak upper level ridge movingquickly over the area during that time frame. As is always the casethough...any succor, no matter how sweet, is short lived here andsure enough another frontal system looks to enter the area lateSaturday morning bringing more precip to the area...and another waveof depression. Upper level ridging starts to nuzzle its way into thearea for Sunday and ordinarily that would be dry...and great...butboth GFS and ECMWF prove how cold and heartless of machines theyreally are as a shortwave disturbance passing to the north may allowfor some showers to bleed into the area. 2 Quote Everett Snowfall (510 feet elevation) Snow since February 2019: 91" 2023-24: 6" 2022-23: 17.5" 2021-22: 17.75" 2020-21: 14.5” 2019-20: 10.5" 2018-19: 24.75"

WeatherArchive
Hi from Aumsville/Stayton Oregon area! Just broke 60F with a high of 63ish and my *other* thermometer that's in the sun almost got to 70F. It was 63F in the shade and 69F in the sun! It felt like early summer because of the humidity. Those strange returns are likely chemtrails as we have seen it ourselves. Some today from areas flights don't come from and did the X pattern in a drunk kinda way where they zig zagged a bit like the pilot was drunk assuming there are actually people up there and it's not a drone doing the spraying. The skies started to yuck out in the afternoon as a result but the north wind kinda took over and prevented too much gunk up so it remained good with a steady breeze or it would be stifling for the time of the year. We have flags in our area and it's neat watching which direction the wind comes from. I also log the weather too when something is happening which reminds me! I rate today 4/5 actually which if the sun didn't come out for hours like it did I would've lowered the score to 3. BTW: As for snowfall Aumsville got 4 inches most of it fell in December with only a couple dusting events in January and an inch during our last event. Hills outside got several inches which we took a drive to get pictures of! We don't have the best camera but I was sure to get good angles. I almost have enough money to get a good camera. Is it alright to upload weather pics? Sorry for it being long but I was responding to some of the posts on here in one go and am not sure if that's the way to do it then replying to each person the hard way. Timmy Supercell
All of the grass is green here. But I think that's pretty typical (with a nearly constant state of snowpack, it does provide constant moisture), just about every year in the beginning of March my yard looks very Spring like. Though, as far as actual flowers/blooming/etc that doesn't kick in until early April. So technically nothing is either behind or ahead of schedule down here yet.
