SEA will end up with a high 40 today which is their earliest high of 40 or lower on record.  Also their third consecutive record low max and third consecutive day 10 or more degrees below normal.

Light snow reported at Boeing Field, Renton, JBLM McCord, JBLM Fort Lewis, Puyallup, and Tacoma narrows with snow reported at SeaTac.

That band sure did miss King County...

The north part of the band sure did get active.

I had a feeling about this one...it had a vort max look to it on the radar.

As I mentioned lat night...I will take my chances being on the NW quadrant of a low anytime around here.

Good catch! I didn’t look outside today until just now. Total bunner.

Go outside Jesse because it is a lot warmer in Portland than Seattle. Maybe you could fly a kite instead of looking into your computer screen all day.   :)

I don’t think that one was nearly as impressive up north though.

I feel like at the upper level it was pretty similar. Just didn't have the lower level CAA this one does.

Facebook had a memory from this day in 2011 and it looked sunny and nice... when was that event?

It was pretty clear about an hour beforehand it wasn't going to miss King County. At lease to anyone without a weird narrative to push.

I thought it was sliding mostly to the south.

Portable iPhones are awesome. ;)

Have you even gotten down to PDX’s high temp today yet this fall? I’m sure it would feel very cold out there to you.

Just wait until we get HIT this winter!!! Gonna put last year's Portland 12hour snowfall totals to shame.

At this rate, he'll never have to endure another miserable, dreary, dank, depressing, wet day at the Clink ever again.

I was thinking that too.   He has not been good this year.
